As we welcome the new year, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to every patient and community member who continues to trust Northern Valley Indian Health with their care. Your health and well-being remain at the heart of everything we do, and we are honored to serve you as we begin another year together.
January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a time to highlight the importance of prevention, early detection, and routine screenings such as Pap tests and HPV vaccination. Cervical cancer is highly preventable, and our care teams are here to support patients with education, screenings, and ongoing women’s health services.
January also includes National Human Trafficking Awareness Day on January 11, a time to reaffirm our commitment to trauma-informed, culturally respectful care and to supporting survivors with dignity, safety, and compassion.
Please note that NVIH will be closed January 1 in observance of the New Year holiday, and closed on January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Thank you for choosing Northern Valley Indian Health as your healthcare provider. We look forward to supporting your health and wellness throughout the year ahead.
Warm regards,
