August marks a time of transition, savoring the last days of summer while preparing for a new school year. At NVIH, we are also recognizing National Immunization Awareness Month.
As families get ready for the return of school, now is the perfect time to schedule your child’s routine well-child visit and ensure they are up to date on their immunizations. In California, vaccinations are required for school entry to protect not only your child, but also those in our communities who are unable to be vaccinated.
Looking ahead, flu season is just around the corner, and NVIH will be offering flu vaccine clinics in the upcoming months. We are proud to continue providing comprehensive immunization services as part of our commitment to keeping our community healthy and safe.
