July brings with it two important national observances, Minority Mental Health Awareness Month and Healthy Vision Month. We are proud to recognize both, as an organization deeply committed to the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
Minority Mental Health Awareness month shines a light on the unique challenges faced by underrepresented communities when it comes to accessing mental health care. At NVIH, we believe that culturally responsive, stigma-free care is not optional, it is essential. We remain dedicated to providing compassionate services that meet our patients where they are and reflect the diversity of the communities we are honored to serve.
Healthy Vision Month is a timely reminder of the power of prevention. Regular eye care and early intervention can make a profound difference in quality of life, and our teams are committed to helping individuals and families access the education, screenings, and care they need to see and live well.
As we celebrate Independence Day this month, we wish our patients, partners, and community members a safe and joyful holiday. Please note that all NVIH locations will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the holiday.
Thank you for trusting NVIH with your health and for your continued support of our mission. Together, we are building healthier, stronger communities.
